CONFERENCE STRUCTURE

Each year ESRA organises a Monothematic Spring Conference in Portugal's beautiful Algarve region. During the week, a full comprehensive update is given on a specific topic for a limited number of participants (maximum 150 attendees) by world renowned experts in the field. In 2018, from Monday April 23rd 2018 till Friday April 27th 2018, the focus will be on "Obstetric Anaesthesia". Every morning from 8 am till lunchtime, key opinion leaders (Nuala Lucas, Warwick Ngan Kee, Roshan Fernando, Frederic Mercier, Eva Roofthooft and Marc Van de Velde) will lecture and discuss thoroughly a wide spectrum of topics related to obstetric anaesthesia both for normal and high risk pregnant patients. You can find the programme on the programme tab. At the end of the week your knowledge on obstetric anaesthesia will be completely refreshed. This course is designed to update trainees, consultants with occasional rotations in obstetrics and those having more exposure to pregnant patients in their clinical practice.

The venue, The Conrad Hotel in Quinta de Lago (Estrada da Quinta do Lago, 8135-106 Almancil, Algarve, Portugal) is the perfect conference venue from which you can refresh your clinical knowledge and expertise in style!!

Join us next year for what promises to be an exciting experience. In 2016, Obstetric Anaesthesia was also the topic of the first Monothematic Conference and it was sold out. Registration is limited to 150 participants, so early registration is advised.

Kind regards
